Rip DVD with Forced/Internal/External Subtitles With Pavtube ByteCopy
Step 1: Add DVD movies
After downloading and installing this DVD copy software, click “Load from files” icon to import source files. Once the DVD movies are loaded into the software, all the chapter will be listed and the chapter of main title with the longest length is checked automatically.
Step 2; Choose output format
You can keep the defaulted format to output. You also can choose to convert DVD to MP4 or MPEG-2 in "Format" drop-down list so that you can play DVD with WMP or transfer DVD to Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy TabPro S for watching.
Step 3: Choose to rip DVD with forced/internal/external subtitles
Part 1: Rip DVD with internal subtitle
At the bottom of the chapter list, there is a Subtitle box, click the black triangle to show the drop-down list. There, you can choose your desired internal subtitle streaming.
If you want multiple subtitle tracks, you will select multi-track video format in step 2. In "Multi-track Video" catelog, you can choose multi-track MP4, multi-track AVI, lossless MKV to export. Then click "Settings" to navigate to Subtitle settings to check your wanted subtitle streaming and uncheck unwanted subtitles.
Part 2: Rip DVD with forced subtitle
If you want to copy DVD with forced subtitle, you need to select a subtitle streaming in "Subtitle" as part one shown. Then check "Forced Subtitle" close to "Subtitle" box. Then you will decrypt DVD with forced subtitle. You won’t see subtitle when the actors saying mother language.
Part 3: Copy DVD with external subtitle
This need appears when there is no the subtitle streaming you need in original DVD discs. To attatch external subtitle to DVD movies, you have to download the subtitle to hard drive in advance. Then click “Edit” or the pencil icon to switch to the editing interface, where you can find multiple editing functions and “Subtitle” is just one of them. Click the “Subtitle” tab and check the “Enable” box to allow you to add SRT/ASS/SSA subtitles to PS4 videos. Then Click “Browse” to find and import the downloaded SRT/ASS/SSA subtitles.
Kindly note: Pavtube ByteCopy only supports SRT/ASS/SSA subtitles, and make sure that the subtitle file and your video files are kept in the same folder sharing the same name.
Step 4: Start to rip DVD with subtitles
