Can’t Play MKV Files on Sony XD93 via USB Flash Drive – Solved!

Sony has released its second-generation Android TVs and the first to arrive on our test bench was the high-end XD93 (X93D in the US). This is a 4K TV that supports HDR (high dynamic range) through a form of limited local dimming (from edge LED) and DCI-P3 wide color gamut. You can stream any videos to it for playing. Although in the manual book of Sony XD93, MKV is one of the supporting formats. However, in actual use, many people complained that MKV can’t be played in Sony XD93 via USB. MKV is a container format developed by Matroska. It is becoming more and more popular since it can hold an unlimited number of video, audio, picture or subtitle tracks in one file. Solve Sony XD93 Not Playing MKV by Converting MKV to Sony XD93 

Step 1: Load MKV videos to the MKV to Sony XD93 converter
