• 4K Video – H.265/HEVC (.MKV, .MP4, .MOV); VP9 (.MKV)

The following media formats are supported on Roku TVs

• Video – H.262 (.MKV)

Notes:

• The Roku Media Player channel will not display unsupported file types or files it has determined cannot be played by your Roku device.
• DRM-protected content is not supported.

Steps to Copy DVD to Roku Premiere in MP4, MOV, MKV

Step 1. Load DVD movies

Insert your DVD disc to your computer’s drive, then launch the DVD ripping software and click the “Load From Disc” button to have the DVD content imported. You can also add VIDEO_TS folder, DVD ISO files are the source files for converting. In addition, you also can import and rip Blu-ray, 4K Blu-ray to Roku 4, Roku Premiere, Roku Premiere +.

Tip – Select Subtitles (Optional) If you want to rip DVD with subtitles, simply click Subtitles and select the one you prefer. You can also choose preferred audio track from the Audio drop-down lists.

1. Select the media type from the Media Type Selection
2. Choose the device that has the content you wish to play.
3. Navigate through your folders to find the content you wish to play. If the desired file is in an unsupported file format, then it will not be displayed.
4. When you find the content you wish to play press Select/OK or Play.
5. While playing, you can pause, skip forward and skip backwards using the Play/Pause, Forward and Rewind buttons on your Roku remote control. Note: Not all files support fast-forward and rewind.
6. To stop playback, press Back.

Tips:

• To play all the videos/music in a folder as a playlist, click Play on the folder.
• Options for playback and browsing can be accessed by pressing  on your remote.
